Awe, Tai Chi and Art

When practicing Tai Chi we learn to pay greater attention to the way we move.

Paradoxically this process can enhance the way we experience the natural world around us. We go inside ourself to discover the awe of what is on the outside. This ability is missing in much of modern society. In its turn recognising the awe in nature connects us to art, something recognised by poets for hundreds of years. This simple fact was demonstrated when Tai Chi classes moved to outdoor locations during the pandemic.
