Small Space Form

In February 2020 Yang Family Tai Chi circulated a video teaching a short form devised by Master Yang Jun. Its aim was to provide a simple form that could be learned and practiced at home by the 60 million Chinese people in self quarantine in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Postures used included those that strengthen the lung meridian. I have adapted this same concept and would like to share a suggested Small Space Form that utilises a sequence of postures already used within the Yang Family long form. It ends with a posture to strengthen the lung meridian but also includes postures that run sequentially through the meridians used in traditional Chinese medicine. The Small Space Form also utilises the five elements from Chinese philosophy. In the event that normal classes are paused to prevent the spread of infection further training video’s will be published.
