The Clever Alchemist
The clever Alchemist created a marvellous indestructible cloak. It was warm, dry and came in so many bright colours. Enchanted by his own cleverness the Alchemist magicked a new cloak every day.
Very soon there were piles of discarded cloaks covering the land. The Alchemist blinded by his own cleverness did not see that slowly nature was being smothered by discarded cloaks.
Yet nature called on wind and sea to hide away the indestructible cloaks. Relentlessly the wind pulled at their edges and the waves ground down the fibres. Years passed and slowly the indestructible cloak fibres swelled in the air as nature's wind blew across the land.
Still the Alchemist blinded by his own cleverness did not see the harm he had caused to nature. He strode through the land each day showing off another new cloak. But slowly the indestructible fibres carried by the wind filled the clever Alchemist until they killed him.
