Humility

The bow at the end of the form is an act of gratitude, an acknowledgement of what we have experienced of ourselves as be practiced the Tai Chi form.  It's not an act of humility, I don't think we can pretend to be humble.  We feel a sense of humility when instead of completing the Tai Chi form we realise that its possibilities just keep endlessly opening up before us.  These endless possibilities referred to in the creation myth as the 10,000 things.  The multiplicity of the universe replicated according to Gerta Geddes within the practice of the second part of the traditional Yang Family long form.
